201 Stainless Steel. Type 201 is a chromium-nickel-manganese alloyed stainless steel. In the annealed condition this grade has excellent mechanical properties and strength. Due to its high work hardening rate, it possesses uniform elongation for improved stretchability for severe forming applications such as strapping bands and preformed hose clamps.
